Self Contained Compactor

MAC Corporation’s high quality self-contained compactors are designed for wet solid waste applications. Their leak-proof construction makes these units ideal for shopping malls, hotels, restaurants, supermarkets, food processing plants, and medical facilities. When equipped with an enclosed loading hopper these units effectively control insect and rodent problems. Our compactors can be configured for your specific needs with custom fitted side or rear load hoppers, security chutes, drive on decks, loading dock enclosures and other optional equipment.

Mighty Mac Series

The Mighty Mac 2 YD series 220 and 2.5 YD series 250 compactors provide high compaction forces in a shorter, space saving footprint. Up to 40% shorter than standard compactors, the 220 and 250 have more than 54,000 and 62,000 lbs. of maximum packing force respectively.

These heavy duty body assemblies are 50% stronger than others on the market. Solid 3/8” plate side walls are further reinforced with structural tube top rails, 1” x 3” solid horizontal bar and 3” structural channel verticals. The 8” x 6” x 3/4” breaker bar is supported by 4” x 3” x 1/4” structural steel tubing and gusseted with 1/2” thick plate. This extra rugged construction totally eliminates side wall deformation even under extreme conditions.

Little Giant Apartment Compactor

The Little Giant Apartment Compactor is designed to fit in limited space applications such as the trash room of apartment and high-rise buildings. While smaller in size the Little Giant retains the same compaction ability as it’s larger industrial cousins resulting in real operational cost savings.

This heavy duty compactor assembly is much stronger than others on the market. 3/16” side walls are reinforced with 1/4” thick structural tube framework and the packing ram face and compaction floor are 3/8” thick plate backed by structural steel channels and 3/8” thick contour shaped ribs. This extra rugged construction provides much longer service life even under extreme conditions.
